elderly monitoring system

These types of devices are designed so that individuals can press a button or pull a cord and immediately have emergency services dispatched to their home. Most commonly these types of services are requested by children of elderly parents, family members of sick individuals and those living with loved ones who have special needs. One of the biggest concerns for family members of the elderly is the potential of falling; fortunately, with a medical alert feature, if an elderly person falls at home when they are alone, they can signal the authorities for help immediately. For families of sick or special needs individuals, this service can be used in a similar way, signaling authorities or medical professionals that assistance is needed in the event of seizures or other medical emergencies. Now, you can even let your visitors in even if you’re upstairs, in the backyard, in the garage, or even out of town! It’s a really good option for homeowners who want an elegant yet sturdy entryway monitoring camera that’s packed with useful features, but is affordable enough to make it a worthy investment. When we signed the Vivint agreement we didn't select the premium service. That service costs an extra $10 per month and covers all of your equipment and the cost of the service calls. Our Vivint salesman told us all of our equipment was covered by warranty for the entire length of the contract 60 months. What he didn't tell us was that it would cost $49 to have a technician come to our house to replace the broken equipment. I will admit that it is my fault for skimming the the fine print, and I mean almost unreadable fine print, on the back of the Vivint contract. It does say there that you must have the Vivint premium service package to waive the service fee. Our new Vivint doorbell camera has the same connection issues. I once again called Vivint and was told that we would need to have a repeater installed between the camera and the panel. The panel shows that the signal strength on the camera is above 90%. Vivint said that they will charge another $49 service call fee to have a repeater installed.
